Phoebe Tronzo is a curator, art historian and art consultant with over 10 years’ experience across auction houses, galleries, museums, biennales, and cultural consulting.

Phoebe draws on your wide network of industry expert across art, design, and heritage to assemble the ideal team for each project.

Prior to founding Via Carini Arts, Phoebe spent six years at the London headquarters of Christie’s, covering auctions and private sales for the Old Masters Group, with a remit across EMEA and Asia.

Her experience in cultural management includes positions at the Milan-based creative agency Accapiu and The Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, and a consulting engagement Embassy of Morocco, Washington D.C. focused on increasing cultural ties between Morocco and the United States.

She has also worked at the London office of global communications firm Edelman, supporting clients including the Government of Ontario, UPS, and Formula 1 on media relations and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Phoebe holds an MA in Byzantine Art History from The Courtauld Institute, London, and a BA in International Relations from Barnard College, Columbia University in New York City.

Art Historical Research

We conduct art historical research to inform exhibition or collection catalogues and educational materials. We draw upon museum archives, catalogue raisonnés, and academic papers to produce authoritative research.
